On this page you can get a brief description of additional B4W software packages. In most cases you can not only download these to your Casablanca 4 (if it is connected to the internet) using the “Download” button (or you can save them to a USB stick and install them from there) but you can try out the software in demo mode too - try before you buy. Some of the titles listed below are pre-installed, with Bogart, and are marked with “Already Loaded” meaning that they are already on your machine.

Maybe start with Bronze on your laptop or PC to get a feel of how it all works and then, if your PC specs are high enough, purchase the licence codes for either of the three version (and Arabesk DVD creation software) and continue to edit just like on a Casablanca. After the first installation of Bogart the editing software for Windows runs as a free Bronze edition. This can be tested for 30 days and produce films up to 20 minutes long. To lift these restrictions at least the Bronze Edition must be purchased.  Note on the video display:Depending on the system performance, the "Play Mode" in the "settings (recording / playback)" to toggle between "single" and "Standard". If the automatic detection does not result in smooth playback or no synchronous audio, the mode should be changed manually.
The comparisons between Bronze, Silver and Gold software can be found in the chart by clicking “Read More” above.
Once B4W Bronze is on your machine the Silver and Gold versions are already ready and waiting in the Install Products menu - ready for activation.

You can now select the area to be masked by way of its colour, shade of colour, brightness or saturation. Even black is supported as a mask colour (super-black).The faded in objects can be can be given a transparent appearance, you can add an aura to them or place a shadow behind them. Special fade-ins and fade-outs are also possible so you can make people or objects appear or disappear with great effect.You can also change selected colours and therefore do such things as make a green shirt turn blue. Or what about those advertisements that you may have seen in which everything turns black and white except for one colour? That is no problem at all for "Bluebox World".Select certain colours (Chromakey), shades of colour or brightness values (Lumakey) to be replaced by another video scene and thus create amasing Bluebox effects.
Candy Factory gives simple black / white text, logos, icons or backgrounds a high quality three-dimensional look.With many different settings in Candy Factory, the effect of 3D appearance, structure, pattern and shine of your base object can be altered. In addition, you can adjust the light and shadows in many ways.Candy Factory is a very creative to use tool. It can create effects from subtle to very dramatic and is highly customisable. Candy Factory always requires two scenes in the storyboard. The special usage is, that a background scene - usually a normal moving or static video scene - is combined with a mask. The mask should be black and white and, for example, a text or a logo,... Over 400 included patterns (textures, patterns) offer virtually endless possibilities. Also in the image pool you will find numerous masks and images that can serve as a base material for working with Candy Factory. Whether the mask is moving or is a static one (depends on the effect you want to achieve), can be optimised in the options.
BorderX 2 is based on the technology and operation of the well known BorderX graphics collection on Casablanca. BorderX 2 HD consists of 100 graphics, and a matching long-term effect.The graphics themselves are located in the image pool and can also be used by other programs that access the Image Pool (eg Arabesk, Titler, etc.).

ChromIt is a Bogart software extension with wide-ranging possibilities for the correction and alienation of colour, brightness, saturation and much more. In addition, a Luma/Chroma-Keying can be realised with ChromIt (Bluebox/GreenBox effect). • Layers for global changes, the masking of image contents by color + brightness and cutouts by predetermined areas (rectangle, ellipse, ...) • Various options for changes in color, brightness, sharpness, ... • Many effect settings (light / medium / dark, color temperature, color weighting, ...) • Almost all settings can be combined • Select a reference scene for color matching • Chroma keying for composing images, patterns or other scenes (Bluebox) • High accuracy rendering through 48 Bit processing • Real-time preview window • Display of Y/C clipping
With Disk-Juggler you can create as many projects as needed on any number of hard drives or mapped network drive..While the built-in hard disk has a fixed size and, depending on the Bogart edition, can manage 10-30 projects simultaneously, there is no limit with Disk-Juggler.
This product offers you the chance to edit your video in 21:9 Cinemascope format.This means that your videos are not recorded in 16:9, but with an aspect ratio of 21:9 (2.35:1).

DVDBax is a collection of 100 motives, created specifically for DVD menu creation with Arabesk. But also suitable for titles and other applications.The images range from technology, across nature to various kinds of textures. They have been edited creatively and despite the defined imagery, suitable for many film scenes. Many images contain highlighted areas that can be used to position texts or smaller pictures. Just like SplitX, the images from DVDBaX can be used with other software packages like the Titler.

Filming footage with a tripod is still the first choice among videographers. However, there are always cases in which you have to do without. The result is often unwanted shaking and movement.

Deshaker is a good rescue solution for shaking pictures. It is capable of evening out most of the unwanted movements in your footage. If you need the shaking scene, give Deshaker the chance to rescue it. You can easily try the software in Demo mode before you purchase it.

The Deshaker is the essential tool for free-hands video filming. The Deshaker software is found in the "Edit / Special" and "Image Processing" menu.
Attention: This effect cannot be used with "Smart Rendering". If this function is active, the effect won't render. 
Slivers is a program for the simultaneous representation of multiple scenes in a video image - think of the Dallas TV show opening credits.
A wide range of templates for sections allows diverse arrangement possibilities of your scenes. The devision of various scenes is possible via individually adjustable dividing lines and varying the size and colour or pattern. With Slivers up to 9 scenes can be arranged at the same time on your video screen, thereby completely new design options for your video result.
This extension provides easy to use yet powerful tools to change individual scenes especially spectacular. Scenes can distort or morph into other scenes. Several effects can be either controlled manually, or use predefined settings quickly.
Close one eye in a video sequence with "Elastic_Dreams_Warp". Extend noses and hair! Here you define how many intermediate steps are necessary. The effect will always generate a fluid movement. The distortions you see in real time, corrections are possible at any time. Let's talk, for example, animals or objects! First, a person is filmed, which speaks a text. This mouth movements are then transferred to any other articles within "Elastic Dreams".
Using the tools of "Elastic_Dreams_Draw" your cat's mouth is opened or closed (analogous to your mouth movements). Result: The animal talks lip-sync with your voice! So can speak a cat, or a painting can make a surprised face.
With "Elastic_Dreams_Fx" You can create your own effects. The various possibilities (manual drawing, prepared effects, soft aperture) can be combined to new and unusual effects to any size.
Morph one person into another, or leave an object futuristic transform into another!

This additional package consists of a collection of 100 high-quality graphics in HD resolution. HD MiX is ideal for all users, in conjunction with an HD camcorder, because the graphics were not upscaled PAL resolution but created in 1080i resolution. It is a compilation of motifs from the popular "X" graphic series, which are very detailed and therefore particularly recommended for HD use. By the use of an alpha channel within the images, the long-term effect can use it on scenes and cover it only at certain points. So outstanding scenes can be highlighted in a film, opening or closing credits can be upgraded or subtitles are provided with a stylised background.
With Liquid Images simple black / white masks can turn your video scene into liquid. Just think of water sloshing over your beach scene, revealing a liquid Candy Factory title. Or fade a scene with a surge of liquid into another scene.The collection consists of 25 individual masks. Each of them can be altered with switches, so that the rendering creates completely different results. Sufficiently variety is guaranteed.

Moving BorderX 1 is a software product which consists of 25 moving images, and a matching long-term effect.Most moving sequences are designed so that they create a frame around the image and leave the middle for moving video. The subtle and striking movements of the animations are great to highlight certain video portions. Moving BorderX 1 works in both in SD and HD projects and supports both 4:3 and 16:9.
The popular lower third titling effects from the software product TitleBaX have now been expanded with animation capability in the Moving TitleBaX product.This software consists of 50 moving images and a matching long-term effect. The sequences are designed so that they can run in a loop.This product was made with the concept of laying down texts from the titler onto a lower third animated graphic box as seen on many television shows. Render a Moving TitleBaX effect on a scene and then add your texts from your Titler on top of it.

The "Power Key Option", not only will you save a lot of time, you will also benefit from many advantages that would normally not be available or that would be very inconvenient to implement without this option.
With QuadCam v2 up to six scenes are played back simultaneously. The comfort of non linear editing multiple camera perspectives is even higher than working with a live mixer as you can review any of the 10 QCv2 projects at a later date.
Quick Photo benefits from the newly introduced technique within Bogart 7, storing the photos in its original high resolution. Those (compared to the resolution of the video project usually superior quality) photos can be used without quality loss with the zoom or pan function. With Quick-photo you can import large amounts of photos in a very short time, edit, apply effects, and then expect as a photo slideshow to the storyboard. Thereafter, the calculated photo show can still be like a normal movie edit, annotate, music and titles before it is output as DVD, Blu-ray or file.

Retro50X consists of 100 image graphics and a fitting image processing effect. Many images are made to look like a border around the screen and leave an empty space in the middle for the video.The Retro50X images use the alpha channel to allow for translucency. This way, you can highlight a particular scene in your video or cover parts of it. An intro or outro can be pepped up, or you can create an interesting background for a scrolling title. The images can be changed in terms of alignment, transparency and color to make for many different variations.

This image collection contains 100 theme specific HD graphics.The graphics are devoted to the topic already mentioned in the name. • There are graphics to every specific topics such as Easter, Christmas, New Year, Halloween, Birthday and so on. • As well as general graphics that can be used at different occasions. For example there are graphics with gift packages, balloons, cups, champagne glasses, ribbons, etc. available.
You can individually format any letters of a line. A large selection of predefined styles is already included. In addition, you can also continue to format the letters using the usual functions. This way, you can give your text a surface structure and edged borders. There is a large library of structures for designing texts and backgrounds for tables. Individually created styles can be stored and are easy to find again thanks to a sample image in the styles archive. Title Studio shows you in its menu what you will see after the title has been calculated. This is called WYSIWYG, except when entering a moving text. All common text formatting is also supported.
SplitX Wedding HD contains 100 high-quality colour images for use with wedding videos in HDV resolution.The graphics are almost identical with the previsouly released Split-X images, but this time, in full HDV. Of course, it is possible to downscale the images for use with PAL or NTSC projects. Because of the 16:9 ratio, it is also ideal for videographers working on PAL/NTSC 16:9 projects.By making use of an alpha-channel with the included image processing effect operator, you can place images over other scenes but only cover specific areas of the scene. This way, areas can be highlighted, or a title can be improved with a fitting background panel or similar. The images can be aligned, made translucent or even colour-modified, making the 100 images an almost endless source.
